Celebrating a Century of Adult Education in Embra Posted on August 31st

We’re on holiday here in the U.S., so this is a quickie, but goodie, I found in my Google Alerts this morning. Brigada Flores Magon reports in her blog, On a Raised Beach, that Embra (which I’m assuming is in the UK?) celebrated a century of adult education today. It was quite the celebration, with “stalls, taster sessions of various sorts, belly-dancing, a female piper, a splendid birthday cake, and lots of interlinking between groups.”

Wow. They really know how to celebrate lifelong learning. Way to go, Embra!

If you have a continuing education celebration to share, let us know, right here or in the forum.
